There is a story about an ugly duckling who's mocked by everyone, but eventually turns into a beautiful swan. It's a nice story. Just not about me. Instead I've disovered the joys of switching. Hello and welcome to my blog! I hope you're either sitting comfortably or kneeling appropriately! At this point it's been almost two years since this ugly swan first reared its head on here and in that time I've created hundreds of posts and added my thoughts to a few hundred more. The following is an attempt to add a little method to all the madness and help you find the content you're interested in. See something you like? Follow the link!

For starters, my original content can be broadly divvied up in three categories:

#task report: Here you can find reports of things I got up to on the behest of others, or the fun little adventures others embarked on because I told them to.

#story: My fictional longform writings. Probably the content I'm most proud of, even though the image-driven bdsmlr doesn't really seem to be the best place for it.

#gif: Speaking of image-driven! Obviously I'm neither in the videos, nor do I have any claim to them. But I also did a little more than just "right-click-save-them-as" from another persons blog before reuploading them on my own. No, the images you can find under this tag have been taken from the underlying videos, cut, edited and converted by me, all in an effort to find interesting scenes and add something new to this site. Now, when I add my own thoughts to other people's posts I do so under #caption. Usually it's banter between me and some of the amazing, lovely, pathetic, cute and / or intimidating and powerful people I've had the privilege of meeting since I got here.
